WHY IS THE SOUL OF THE "DEAD JUBILEE PARTY" THAT IMPORTANT?

 There is a protracted battle on who will end up with the Jubilee Party. There is the Kanini Kega led faction which has the blessings of the state especially DP Gachagua and there is another camp led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the dejure party leader and secretary general Jeremiah Kioni. This two factions are tearing each other apart but the camp which is showcasing its adrenaline to the world is the Kanini Kega camp. They are abrogating themselves as the legal holders of the positions they are holding now. The political parties dispute tribunal didn't fully ruled on this matter but it directed it back to the party officials to solve their leadership wrangles in an amicable manner. It is true according to the presidential retirement benefits act , the former president should seize to hold any office six months after the general elections but at the same time , the same constitution does rob the very retired president his political rights. He has political right to belong to any political party , support any political grouping or coalition or subscribe to and political ideology and push it with all his energies. So far , if you walk to the office of the registrar of political parties, you will find that Uhuru Kenyatta is the party leader but according to the Kanini led renegades, it is totally different.

It is true both elected political leaders and those who lost in this Jubilee Party are just looking for survival. But someone will ask this genuine question, if this people the likes of Kanini Kega lost to their UDA opponents in the August 9 , 2022 general elections, how do they believe they will win against this very UDA opponents come 2027? How??? This is a question they can't answer but you there you are in a position to provide the answer to this question with much ease. They can't win. Infact, they can lose terribly. It is clear they aren't after orchestrating the coup d'etat on Jubilee Party so that they own it to rebrand it , to recruit new members or conduct grass routes elections but their main purpose is to enter into a post election coalition pact with UDA. By this I mean, they are planning to hand over the party to President Ruto who still harbours alot of bitterness and will want to kill the Jubilee Party officially with his own bare hands. He believes by doing so, he will manage to forcefully retire his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta from Mt Kenya region politics. He fears that the former President may try to regroup his own political bastion on the parameters that , his regime may fail to fulfill the many promises it made to the mountaineers. Already, there is a silent and creeping disgruntlement that the Kenya Kwanza goverment played them. It fooled them that it will look at their agricultural hegemon economic base , that is , milk, tea and coffee industry. This is something that President Ruto himself is trying to avoid and to succeed in nipping it at the bud , he must ensure that the coup d'etat at Jubilee Party is successful.

On 22nd May, this is the day slated for the Jubilee Party national delegates conference meeting at Bomas of Kenya. The party leader Uhuru Kenyatta has called for it after the required members of NEC ratified it. This is the day things will align themselves. This is when the real owners of the Jubilee Party will be known. I believe the calling of this NDC meeting caught many by surprise especially those orchestrating the coup d'etat at Jubilee Party headquarters at Kileleshwa. It will be a show of both financial might and support base. I believe that meeting will be aired by leading television stations in Kenya. But the question is , why is this all this shenanigan is happening in Mt Kenya region? I believe the people fighting hard and baying for Jubilee Party blood told the nation during CAMPAIGNS that this party is dead. Yes!!  They also composed dirge songs to it and the only thing they didn't provide is a cross. If you closely interrogate this matter closely, you will understand that this people are fearing when the former President Uhuru Kenyatta is politically active. What is this they are fearing?? What is this that they know we don't know?

It is true the supremacy battles on who is eligible to become the Mt Kenya region supremo is ranging. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is on course and he is determined to be the supreme leader. His greatest competitor for that title isn't Uhuru Kenyatta nor Mwangi Kiunjuri but his boss President Ruto. The President is his greatest competitor because Ruto himself can't imagine before 2027, someone will be dangling sticks to him that he must pass through them inorder to get the populus Mt Kenya region votes. He still want to maintain his grip on this vote rich and he don't want to prop up chieftains who come 2027 as he will be seeking a second term in office to play monkey games on him. That's why inorder to survive, he must use the divide and rule tactics on this region. He must keep this unending wars going on because as he strategizes on how to shape his re-election, he must ensure the mountain isn't going far from him. The most uncomfortable thing going on now and I believe he isn't sitting pretty on it is the new narrative of one man one vote one shilling which is being pushed by a section of legislators led by Githunguri legislator Gathoni Wamūchomba. I believe it isn't something it will sit well on him and his fear is if his predecessor can join in that crusade. Someone has also poked holes that as the Mt Kenya region political adrenaline is high as the supremacy war rages , he is busy putting his kinsmen and women at strategic she coveted state positions. By the time the stupor on GEMA nation is over , it will be 2027 and a new narrative inorder to vote for this regime again will be mooted in Mt Kenya region before spreading to other regions where Kenya Kwanza Alliance have massive support.

It is now clear why the ongoing battles in Jubilee Party is going on and is being executed with much energy. Yesterday, the renegades led by Kanini Kega faction named nominated MP Sabina Chege as the new party leader of Jubilee Party. The party have now two party leaders. A legit one and a pseudo one. Kenyans are waiting to see what will happen but one thing is clear , the shenanigans in the former ruling party started when a section of Jubilee Party legislators both elected and non elected were invited at State House. It is immediately after this meeting that Kanini Kega EALA suspended Kioni as the party secretary general. Concealing your intentions is extremely very important. State House forgot to conceal its foot steps. Its image is all over the attempted coup at the Jubilee Party. The renegades are holding brief for the state and not that they have any business with revatilize the party but to strangle it to death , get their pay and go home. Ooooooooops!!! Empty handed, absolutely no. Word out here is that this people have been promised direct UDA tickets come 2022 and those who failed to capture their political seats and are part of this rebels will be given state jobs. How true is this I don't know but in every word flying out here especially in this social media handles, it isn't far from the truth. Now as things stand , it is a matter of wait and see. Who will blink first and who will end up with this party.
