AN OPEN LETTER TO MT KENYA RESIDENTS.

 Dear my fellow Mt Kenya region residents , I hope you are fine. Am fine too but a bit disturbed by the recent events that happened yesterday in Kenya Kwanza Alliance. What happened yesterday is enough to make the whole of Mt Kenya region to go back to factory reset. Things are good at all. We have been played and FIXED in a big way. Political Scientist Prof. Mutahi Ngunyi has been raising this read flag that , you either play smart when dealing with Ruto or get played and fixed. So far , even after DP Ruto criss crossing this region for more than 9 years , he has given this region the short end of the stick. Zero deal yet he is salivating for our 8.5 Million votes. Free of charge. The fellow is a hypocrite , a political conman who has been accusing other Leaders for engaging in Political deceit and thuggery. A tribalist per excellent but he is quick in castigating others of engaging in the act. Dear Mt Kenya region residents , open your eyes wide. Reconfigure your minds and don't be lured with religious quotes that are aimed at brainwashing you.

The most dangerous leaders who became ruthless autocrats and dictators were very generous , very religious , feigned to love children and peace. Attended the church regularly and frequently quoted the bible. They equated their leadership qualities to that of leading figures in the bible to justify that , their leadership is God ordained. I beseech you not to fall to this trap. The moribund running mate slot Ruto is reserving to us is hogwash. If you have taken time to look at the Kenya Kwanza Alliance pre- coalition agreement , you can attest and certify what am telling you. Have you seen the responsibilities the chief minister , a position equivalent to that of Prime Minister is wielding? Infact , thst tells you the Deputy President in Ruto's government will see it rough. He/She will only be there to be seen and not to be heard. 

The stranger has mastered your language. He is now speaking it almost fluently inorder to hoodwink you that , he is one of you. This is soft power. He is very calculative because he knows , since he demonized and incited you to hate President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government , he want to capture your house whole and intact. How can someone comes from outside your homestead and tell you to hate your father? Someone who stood with tht community back in 2007/08 when the community was in the verge of being cleansed? Kagutuí ka mucií gatihakagwo ageni ( the oilskin of a home isn't for rubbing on strangers) . Let us ask ourselves where the rain started beating us. How can we give out beautiful bride for free? Will we give out our daughter only for a sip of mursik? This is collosal stupidity. We will cry with one eye. Danger is lurking ahead.

When the missionaries landed in Gíkûyū land , from Kiambu to Nyeri , thru used the soft power. The bible , food , medical facilities and education. The flag followed the flag. Wearing clench fists , the missionaries thereafter invited their brothers , the colonial government to come to take swathe of land annexed from native Gíkûyū residents. This is thr same formula which DP Ruto is using. Why is he afraid of putting in public the offer he has for Mt Kenya region residents? Why is he putting it shrouded in SECRECY? Is there something sinister and fishy he is hiding? Infact , it is said , he who comes to equity comes with clean hands. In this whole melee , DP is coming with dirty hands. He is coming with the gun hidden in his waist. Look at how Koitalel Arap Samoei was lured to his death in 1905. 

Dear Mt Kenya region, let's rally behind our political kingpin. He has all the reasons why we should move in Azimio la Umoja. I won't pre-empt what is in Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party pre-election agreement. It is juicy for Mt Kenya region. We don't want us to suffer again Economically , Socially and Politically the way we did from 1978 - 2002 . You will be hit hard. Your tea , coffee and dairy industry which has gotten a new lease of life will be strangled to death. Ruto knows that is our source of political and economic strength. The horse will be forced in a painful manner to wait for the donkey. That statement was used by President Moi and it adversely affected the region severely. 

I believe and trust you my good people. We are 3 months shy to the next general elections. Go back to your factory settings. There is still time and one day in politics is a very huge one. Let's not be lured to follow a path that will be self destructive. It is good we know that , the fellow who has been telling us about focusing on Economic revival yet he is busy creating positions to the likes of Mudavadi. DP Ruto is a pathological lier. His plethora of lies which he keeps on spewing in Political rallies don't collerate with what he believes in. He is just a populist. That's why , he mentored the likes of Mike Sonko and Ferdinand Waititu. We all know how they duo handled Nairobi and Kiambu respectively. My fellow Mt Kenya region residents , let us stand out ground. Politics is all about interests and not honouring vague political promises.
