HER EXCELLENCE MARTHA KARUA ; ASSERTIVE , UNBOWED AND UNSHAKABLE. THE IRON LADY.

Today , HE MARTHA WANGARI KARUA visited her home county of Kirinyaga County in a homecoming ceremony where residents were waiting for her in large numbers. In songs and dances , they welcomed her with joy and love. After yesterday's historical moment in KENYA'S politics , Martha Karua was picked by Raila Odinga , Azimio la Umoja coalition party as his presidential running mate. Jubilation galore was witnessed in Kirinyaga Central , Gichugu, Ndia and Mwea Constituencies. Residents applauded the decision by Raila for picking Karua who has a sound track record of championing for Democracy, fight against corruption and upholding and safeguarding the rule of law.

A shameful act happened today but residents in Kirinyaga County. There were goons who were planted in various stop overs which Karua convoy was making especially when she was addressing the residents who were resonating well with the message she was given them. That act tell me one thing , the opponent is afraid. He is in panic mode. Him and his surrogates didn't anticipate that , the Karua card to reorganize Mt Kenya region political arithmetics especially on the presidential seat. If she card isn't lethal ,  why is the opponent panicking? He shouldn't be doing so. Already , Karua has tilted the many undecided votes which were hanging precariously and the ones Ruto and his troops thought he had managed to bag and galvanize them. The most painful thing is that , he has been making inroads in this region for the last 10 years and yet he is feeling paranoid. He ain't sure the GEMA nation will give him votes in large numbers the way they did back in 2013 and 2017.

The Raila-Karua ticket is that of hope. A new dawn for Kenya. That's what many Kenyans want to associate themselves with without looking behind.  The other duo are the face of DESPOTISM , KLEPTOCRACY and AUTHORITARIANISM. That's why the tide is moving away from them in large numbers. The other thing is , the continued harrassment of Karua in her rallies is making her strong. Yes!!! She withered the KANU regime under President Moi. She remained unbowed despite the State machinery then being lethal on those who opposed it. Karua stood aganaist it. That's what Kirinyaga County CEO who took to her social media handle to play reverse psychology how her supporters were being harassed by the police. What she didn't know is that , police had intelligence reports of what was being hatched. Now , they are bitter and crying foul because their plans were nipped in the bud. It is frustrations galore. Mambo bado. When the campaigns will start , there are some who will only be holed in their counties and Constituencies because things will be hotter than they are thinking.

But why should someone upto date hold chauvinistic , narcissistic and misygonistic characters. The painf in them is that Raila Odinga has broken loose the patriarchy sequence that has been in existence since Kenya got independence. Today , Kenya has a female running mate in a coalition which is anticipated to clinch victory come August 9th . That alone is sending shockwaves to Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Today , I saw the bitterness in Ruto's face and body. The guilt of betraying Prof Kindiki Kithure was all over his body. Is he coming to terms later thst he made a fatal Political decision? Methinks so because the narrative is tilting towards the Raila-Karua ticket. It is now that reality is catching up with him. He has no option but to wait for a Raila presidency. Period!!!

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. US -AFRICA LEADERS SUMMIT WAS ALL ABOUT SETTING STAGE FOR NEW COLD WAR. PERIOD!!!!

The US - Africa leadership summit which took place in Washington DC , USA is over after three days of exchanging ideas , taking orders and hobnobbing between the African heads amongst themselves and their US government counterparts. It is a summit that took place at the height of the New Cold war between US on the one hand and Russia and China on the other hand. It is the new version of the scramble for Africa after the one which happened in 1886 , in Berlin led by Germany chancellor Otto von Bismarck. This is where European powers met and shared out Africa amongst themselves. US wasn't part of it. Today as we speak, the new cold war is gaining traction and it is doing so in the African soil.  The last Africa -US leadership summit took place in 2014 when by the then US President Barrack Obama and the current President Joe Biden as his Vice President.
