RIGATHI GACHAGUA ; THE TONGUE RASHING RUNNING MATE DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD

Rigathi Gachagua is one individual who , when he puts his tongue into motion , he leaves the hearts of many soiled , both who support Ruto and those who doesn't support him. Is it the time William Ruto should realize he made a very fatal political mistake by picking Rigathi Gachagua? I know he looked his deep pockets , his mobilization skills , his braveness in hurling scathing attacks and disparaging remarks towards the President and his family and to some extent , Kenyatta's close associates. He forgot that , with a microphone , Rigathi is worse than an ISIS militia holding an Rocket Propelled Grenade ( RPG).

There is disquiet in UDA and the whole Kenya Kwanza Alliance family. They are angry by the recent Gachagua's outbursts. They are making their work more difficult , extremely very difficult. For every 50 votes they marshall in Ruto's favour , once Gachagua opens his mouth , 40 votes vanish because they don't resonate and agree with his outbursts. Is Ruto telling Gachagua that he isn't vying for Mathira Parliamentary seat and he is looking for PRESIDENTIAL votes? If he answers this question to himself , the better because , Azimio la Umoja brigade led by master tacticians Martha Karua and Raila Odinga are capitalizing on Rigathi's outbursts to win the many soiled hearts. Fact!!!!

His demeaning and disparaging remarks that Kamba nation doesn't have votes and that , their 1.5 Million votes are of no significance to one William Ruto. The question is , why is Dr Alfred Mutua doing there? What is Johnstone Muthama doing there. Good people , have you realized Muthama has been conspicuously missing in Kenya Kwanza Alliance rallies? Is there something that he knows his counterparts in that Alliance don't know? The question is , what was going through Rigathi's mind when he spewed vitriolic remarks towards the Kamba nation when he knows too well they brought Mutua to enable them hive a section of Kamba nation votes from Kalonzo Musyoka's fold?

From where am seated , Rigathi's outbursts on Kamba nation voters will make Kalonzo Musyoka to make a U-turn and rejoin Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party. How I wish Musyoka will consult his heart and reconsider his decision. It is evident that , Kenya Kwanza Alliance are now clueless. They are following where Martha Karua and Raila Odinga are taking their campaigns. Owe unto them that the voter in Kenya is now wise. It is good they are doing that and I wish they continue giving Rigathi Gachagua the microphone and more airtime to do more harm to Kenya Kwanza Alliance and tilt most decided abd undecided votes in Azimio la Umoja fold.

In Political communication , how you tailor your message to the voter is very important. There are those who attend a political rally to listen to the speeches made by aspirants. It is from the speeches they make and not the handouts they give that makes this kind of people to make their political decisions. The spiral of silence acts on them after they leave that rally and mostly , they make the decision once they are alone and not when dissecting what the aspirant(s) have said with their friends. Rigathi isn't tailoring his message well to wanjiku and he is alienating Ruto from the voters he had won for the last 9 years. Communication in politics is very important that's why if you look at Azimio la Umoja communication think tank , it is made up of sober people who are bringing professionalism in that team. They are sieving what to tell the masses and what not to say.

I don't support William Ruto but am sympathizing with him because the gains he is making everyday, Rigathi Gachagua is watering and soiling it all. The Azimio la Umoja have realized the weakest nerve in Gachagua is he isn't taming his tongue. By this , Azimio la Umoja should continue provoking the guy and because he is tempered , he will make outbursts that will soil the hearts of many people. Tzu Sun once said , if your opponent is of choleric feelings , irritate him more oftenly. He will end up making very serious strategic mistakes and it will aid the other side to override him with ease and to a large extent , capture his camp whole and intact. Azimio la Umoja must understand the GAME PLAN.
