 On Monday ,the presidential battle took and new shift after Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party presidential aspirant Right Hon Raila Odinga unveiled his running mate , Hon Martha Karua SC in a colourful and historic event that took place at KICC. It was a political move that was very tactical and strategic. It caught the opponent pants down. He wasn't anticipating such a move will be taken. There is no doubt that Kenya Kwanza Alliance are in panic mode. The wave that Martha Karua has caused across Mt Kenya region is that which they weren't expecting. Women are resonating well with her. In her they are see a good feature. In her , they are seeing a leader who will fully represent their interests. She is indeed a beacon of HOPE and TRANQUILITY.

As the conversation is taking a new dimension , it has narrowed down to the two running mates , that is , Rigathi Gachagua and Martha Karua. Opponent has started coining defeatist narratives of they don't want gender but they want agenda. This is an escapist statement because , in all the Counties Martha Karua and her entourage are visiting , she is quick to enumerate the many good things the residents of Mt Kenya region and Kenya as a whole will enjoy from the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance Government that will be unanimously endorsed by Kenyans in the ballot come August 9th. Rigathi gave the residents of Mt Kenya region the main agenda in his mind that Ruto presidency will offer to them. Cooked rice , soda and pilau. Only that. This is the reasoning of someone who is eyeing to occupy the office of the Deputy President. If this is the reasoning , now you can understand why his partners in crime in UDA and thr whole Kenya Kwanza Alliance were rejecting him and preferred Prof Kindiki Kithure.

Hon Martha Karua SC is very categorical and objective on the areas ranging from social to economic that the Raila Government will bring to Kenyans. She isn't a populist. She is very clear in her mind that , it is Mt Kenya region residents who will keep her accountable and responsible for the things she is promising to them. Those who know her , can attest that she keeps her word. Unlike Rigathi Gachagua who is just a populist. There is no nexus between what he says and what he believes in. The utterances he made in Nyeri County of him becoming a yes sir man is very and incongruent. This is someone who doesn't the interests of kenyans at Heart. Very egocentric and has absolutely nothing to offer.  The residents of my Kenya region knows Gachagua is just a snake oil merchant. The kind of populistic politics president Moi used to play , henis just reading from those old notes he has been keeping in his closet.

The spiral of silence is working in favour of Hon Karua since she was picked to be Raila's running mate. In every 10 people engaging in a political discourse in Mt Kenya region , 7 are in favour of her. They are scrutinizing her biography which is placing her in a good position and residents are easily embracing her in their hearts. Her braveness , assertiveness and astuteness is what is making majority to revere her. From Mūrang'a , Kiambu , Nyeri , Nakuru , Meru , Embu , Kirinyaga and Tharaka Nithi Counties have in unison endorsed Raila Odinga candidature through Hon Martha Karua. On the other side , there is no hope . The two partners in crime have exhausted what they have been moving across Mt Kenya region telling Wanjiku. They have nothing new to offer. If it is about myopic hustler narrative , it lost its mojo long time ago. If is about the hollow bottom up economic model which even Dr David Ndii can't offer a simple definition , it is dying a slowly infact a natural death.

A battalion of reformist and democratic merchants is facing a fellowship of corrupt , kleptomaniacs and authoritarian scions. Kenyans must choose hope and economic emancipation or the devil and the deep blue seas. Agriculture is the backbone of Mt Kenya region ECONOMY. Fact!!! And it is in this backdrop that we should not allow ourselves to be duped. The CS Agriculture is one tHon Peter Gitirau Munya. He has held this docket with alot of passion. Very hard working. Tea , dairy , potato and coffee farmers in this region have felt his impact positively. Coffee farmers are smiling all the way to the Bank. Tea farmers very soon will be doing the same. The question is , how can you allow someone who will return you back to DARK years to take over the mantle of Leadership in Kenya? He will strangle all the gains CS Munya and the government has done in reinvigorating the agricultural sector in Kenya and especially Mt Kenya region.

Let's be wise. All politics is local and we must know the person who can help us and the one who is just seeking power for personal aggrandizement only. A kleptomaniac who coined the dynasty narrative yet he wants to take Power so that he advances the same KLEPTOCRACY which they inherited from the KANU regime. We aren't ready to go back to the Streets to fight for Economic , social and political rights. Under the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition Government , things will be better than they are. Infact , Change and a sober change is inevitable. God bless KENYA. It is a Martha Karua and Rao moment.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
