WHY RELIGION IS AFRICA'S WORST ENEMY?

Before the white man landed in Africa in the name of missionaries , Africans had their own way of worship. They were those who worshipped animistic things , other cultural etc. In my Gíkûyū , we worshipped Ngai and we believed he dwelled in Mt Kenya region. Our forefathers used to worship under the Mugumo (fig tree). This is where they offered their sacrifices to plead to their God when they were plagued by strange  diseases , drought and famine etc and also , if a dry season was preceded by a bumper harvest. That was before Africans were corrupted with foreign religion.

During the colonial period , the presbyterians , Anglicans and Catholics brain washed Africans who deserted their culture and traditions and also demonized their earlier ways of worshipping their God. They were told to embrace a white man God whom they didn't question his wherebouts and where He was before the coming of the white man since they had never heard about him. Religion in Africa has become a barrier to both social and economic growth and development. Poverty has been converted to look and sound as if it is a spiritual problem. Clergy and Pastors have fleeced their gullible congregants their hard earned monies under the guise of promising them a vague Heaven when they convert the posh earthly properties to be their Heaven. 

I listened to DP Ruto's wife Rachael on the "miracle" she perfomed that ended up cleaning the borehole water which was unfit for human consumption and I was left mouth agape. I questioned that miracle thing which happened back in the year 2003. I don't dispute that Rachael is a prayerful woman but hoodwinking us that she purified borehole water with salt is pure theatrics. Those who have done hydro-geologists can explain to us in a professional manner why such water in a borehole which has just been drilled can behave that way. Ruto has been defying himself through religion. Karl Marx once said , that , Religion is the OPIUM of the masses. German Sociologist Max Webber did a seminar paper that is called Protestant ethic and the spirit of Capitalism. This two Sociologists delved into this issue of religion in deep. Expounded the rot and trickery beneath it. We're they atheists? Some classical Sociologists accuse the duo of being one.

Ruto and his wife Rachael are now deifying themselves as we approach the August 9th general elections. This is the aim of hoodwinking the gullible followers who don't take their time to critically and analytically analyse issues. From where am seated , this Rachael Ruto miracle claim is purely religious conmanship. It is aimed to fooling the Kenyan voter that , if incase this couple can occupy the State House come August , they will solve Kenya's problems which have been affecting this Country since independence through religious beliefs and miracles. Scam!!!! I beseech Kenyans who are sober and love this Country not to fall into this trap. Why is it the proponent of this miracle ( Rachael) 19 years later , this is the time she is coming out to break that information to the public? There is a sinister motive behind. Dear Kenyans , don't fall to this trap. It is trap. Enjoy your Sunday good people.
