THE RUNNING MATE MELEE?

 The issue of running mate position is a hot potato to both Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance. Truth be told , the Principals of this two Alliances/ Coalition are walking on a slippery floor only that they are just feigning comfort. For Azimio la Umoja , Kalonzo Musyoka is causing alot of ripples , confusion and consternation. His barrage of conditions is what is irking the Azimio la Umoja top honchos. Fact!!!

In Kenya Kwanza Alliance , all eyes are set on William Ruto. Why??? He is Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Kenya Kwanza Alliance is him. We all know that UDA has almost 89% stake in that Alliance. It is imperative to note that , ANC and Ford Kenya are just spent bullet cartridges. They did not add the political mojo Ruto was expecting. Yes!!! That's why , they don't have any much impact in deciding who will become the Alliance running mate.

Think about it , in Azimio la Umoja , the presidential candidate is one Raila Odinga ( ODM) , his/her running mate with come from the coalition party affiliate Parties eg Jubilee Party , Wiper , Narc Kenya , Narc , Maendeleo Chap Chap etc. This is very healthy because , incase the coalition party forms the next government , with the political parties act of 2021 ,the President will not treat his/her deputy the way it is currently happening and at the same time , the deputy president will not treat the president the way the current one is doing.

In Kenya Kwanza , chances are that UDA will produce both the presidential candidate and his running mate. Hilarious!!! Does it deserves to be called an alliance? Who is fooling the other? Your guess is good as mine. This is simply a mongrel of an alliance. Fact!!! And whether the running mate for that Alliance will come from Mt Kenya region , the kind of distress former Vice President's , for example , the late Prof. George Saitoti , Dr Josphat Karanja and Mwai Kibaki went through will have under President Moi , will likely replicate itself. The occupant of that office will be at the mercies of his boss.

How both political camps will iron out this issue of running mate will highly determine which outfit will carry the day come 9th August. Fact!!! It is undisputed. And it is so DECLASSIFIED!!!

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
