KALONZO MUSYOKA;A POLITICAL STRATEGIST OR JUST A POLITICAL OPPORTUNIST?

 Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is one Political animal who is very tricky. Kenyans and Africa as a whole fails in understanding him at all. Kalonzo Musyoka is an experienced pooitcian having entered into murky world of politics immediately after he graduated from University of Nairobi Law School and Kenya School of Law. Kalonzo didn't tarmac to find a job. His star of luck was always illuminating good things for him. In elective politics , Kalonzo was elected as Mwingi North MP at a tender age. Very youthful. Many say he was barely 29 years old. His cunning character trait which he has been using it helped him to even hoodwink the late President Moi.


Kalonzo went on to become a minister in Moi's Government. It is during his reign on KANU  that he started positioning himself to take over Ukambani Political kingpin mantle from the illiterate , rouble rouser and wheeler dealer the late Mulu Mutisya. As a political schemer , Kalonzo endeared himself to President Moi. Moi trusted him alot and in a clandestine manner , tasked him to be his ears and eyes in the whole Ukambani region, a task he perfomed with much precision. Betraying his allies became his tool of trade as long as his Political survival and career won't be in jeopardy.
Kalonzo Musyoka has been exhibiting mixed reactions in KENYA'S political scenes because he doesn't know what he wants. In 2007 , he played the kingmaker using the ODM-Kenya ticket. Many are of the opinion that , if Kalonzo supported either Kibaki or Raila Odinga , this country wouldn't have taken the route of violence it took after ECK announced the presidential election results. Kalonzo was roped in by Kibaki and became the Vice President so that to try and tame Political fault lines that had developed at that time and moment. That's when he started bragging that , they were with Raila Odinga opposing the NARC government and now he is there as the VP. Kupitia katikati.
Kalonzo Musyoka isn't a political strategist. Him and strategy cannot feature in the same sentence. Infact, he is more of a political opportunist. The kind of confusion he is bringing in Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party is because he wants to kupitia katikati. This time round , he is check mated. His indecisive character has been mapped and Azimio principals , HE Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have unearthed his tricks. So far , Kalonzo cannot jettison from Azimio la Umoja coalition party. His counterparts Alfred Mutua and Amason Kingi have tried but got a shocker from the registrar of political parties. Savage!!!
From where am seated , no attention should be given to him. The stick and carrot politics he is displaying in Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance so that the running mate position is given to him are long overdue. He is just chasing the wind. The kind of stubbornness he is displaying now is the very stubbornness he will express. He will be a nuisance just like the current Deputy President is doing to his boss. The running mate position should not be given to Kalonzo Musyoka and if feels his threats are making some of us have stomach upsets or lack sleep , let him decamp to Kenya Kwanza. But how???  Not possible at all. By the end of the day , he will miss both the yam and the knife. Period!!!

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
