ON RUNNING MATE , WHICH WAY FOR RUTO; KINDIKI OR RIGATHI?

All eyes are on DP Ruto as he is expected to pick his running mate today. Word has it there is alot of tension and adrenaline has started rising to some politicians who believe they are best poised for that position. For the last 2 weeks , word has it Prof. Kindiki was better placed to deputize William Ruto. Kindiki hails from Tharaka Nithi County. He is thr current senator for that county. He is from Mt Kenya region East who for a long time have been supporting politicians from Mt Kenya region West since independence.

His opponent for that seat in UDA is Mathira Constituency MP Rigathi Gachagua. The controversial former KANU District Officer,(DO) and president Moi blued eyes boy who carried out fishy and atrocious activities inorder to maintain the despotic KANU regime in power. He is accused of orchestrating ethnic cleansing in the Rift Valley province especially in Molo Division of Nakuru County. History puts him in a very precarious situation. He is feared by many than he is loved. His character which depicts of a bullish , authoritarian , Despotic and rebellious person. He is someone Ruto can fall out with within a span of 14 days Incase he can win the August 9th presidential elections.

Prof Kindiki is loved across the board. There is no major scandal which is associated with him unlike Rigathi who is battling a litany of corruption cases in KENYA'S courts. His name features starting from OB at Mathira police station to court registry at Milimani courts.Ecen supporters of Azimio la Umoja faction will feel robbed if Ruto can pick Rigathi as his running mate. It can be a dark day for Kenya Kwanza Alliance and for the whole Nation and Africa as a whole. We can't Photoshop our Kenya's history at all. We said , those afraid of history have something sinister to hide. Rigathi is one of those people. Kenya's history vindicates him alot. It has never put him in a good position. However much he tries to refute it , it has always remained a Herculean task for him.

For William Ruto , he is also vindicated by history. Kenyans fear him having been a gatekeeper and blue eyed boy of the despotic KANU regime under the tutelage of the late President Moi. Fact!!! Kenyans too fear , he will strangle democracy which me and you are enjoying today. He can immediately return back autocratic , authoritarian and high handness regime. Kenyans don't want to go back to the Streets to fight for Democracy and multipartyism again. So , for him to remove that perception from the eyes and minds of Kenyans , he must bring something who they don't share character traits. This man is non other than Prof. Kindiki Kithure and not Rigathi Gachagua. Fact.  Kindiki fits the bill. Already , Kenyans both allied to Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance have given him a clean bill of health.

So , William Ruto should not disappoint Kenyans who are waiting pregnantly for this historic announcement. It is imperative to note that , presidential contest will take a new dimension once William Ruto and Raila Odinga picks their running mates. That's  when indicators of who will carry the day will clearly expose themselves. For now  , the razzmatazz and innuendos we are hearing will vanish once the duo will tell Kenyans , the kind of running mates they have seen are ripe and qualified for that job. Yes!!! So , Ruto , stop keeping us. We are waiting.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
