LESEDI IS JUST A TIP OF THE ICEBERG ; MORE AGONY IS IN THE OFFING.

 Land is the most valued asset in Mt Kenya region , that's why , if you easily want to swindle someone his/her earned money, just tell them you are selling a land or you know someone doing it. After saying so , wait for the reaction , that's when you will realize that you don't deserve to use violence to get the huge sums of money you want from your target. He/she will fall into your hands very easily. That's the same script Lesedi land buying company CEO Geoffrey Gitahi perfected on and executed with much ease without struggling. Why should he struggle when he truly knows his kinsmen and women value land more than their lives. Through his Lesedi company, he has managed to swindle more than sh 1 Billion from helpless customers and investors. As we speak, in Mt Kenya region, there is hue and cry from all those who were conned I'm the name of land investment. As the CEO is eating with a big spoon, his victims are busy taking drugs to control their pressure because BP has shot up.

Our people we never learn when it comes to buying land. Their greed is one that has made them to fall victim of this conning land company. When they see and listen adverts in the vernacular radio and TV stations, they fall victim because of the trust their have with the presenters and influencers used to lure them to the trap. It is sad to see how this Media stations have contributed in a big way enable this scammers to have a field day and make billions of shillings out of selling false hope and air. Look , how can a land company which is genuine sell a plot of 40 by 80  to 3 or 4 customers? Then , this customers meet at the plot and each claim ownership. A conflict ensure that if not properly handled , it leads to bloodshed or death. When all this happening , the staff of this land company are busy luring more customers to fall to the same traps. What is heartbreaking is that , this TV and radio stations failed to adhere to consumers protection act. Instead of protecting their customers, they decided to expose them to their scammers with no iota of mercy and shame just because they are racking million of shillings from advertisment fees. But why should they do that to the people they believe are part of them?

As if that nots enough, this scammers are very smart. They do very serious market research. They have noted that, religion, being the OPIUM of the masses have been used by political elites in Mt Kenya region to clinch political offices. If politicians have used religion to clinch power , why shouldn't they use the same route to enrich themselves by selling nothing but air. That's why they have been using "gospel" artists as their influencers in their TV and radio advertisments. This gospel artists graciously takes this opportunity just because fat money is wired in their pockets. Knowing too well they are advertising air , with no iota of shame and conscience, they end up luring their fans into the trap. Do they care since by the end of the day they will make more money than they make in their gospel music. Greed , dishonesty and thuggery is what has made majority especially in Mt Kenya region to cry and cry loudly. Majority took loans from their friends, relatives , banks and saccos in the name of investing. As we speak, the hue and cry, agony and regrets those who were conned are going through is monumental. Even as this is happening, this kind of adverts in this vernacular stations are going on. 

Before Lesedi , we have Gakuyo , Banda, Suraya etc who collapse not naturally but intentionally inorder to swindle billions of shillings from their investors. Again, who are the victims , Mt Kenya residents. What about Ekeza sacco, this case was special after the government intervened and a majority of the investors here were in a position to recover their monies. With Lesedi, it has not be fruitful to those investors who demanded their monies to be refunded back. Bouncing cheques is what they have been taking to the banks they have accounts. It has been agony after agony. If you have a relative or a friend who is a victim of Lesedi scam , please give them a shoulder to lean on. This isn't the time to lecture them on how they don't know how to invest and how greed led them to be conned. This are people who can fall into depression very easily. They can too be candidates of high blood pressure. Others may even contemplate to commit suicide. Look , you take a loan to invest for yourself and family only to come our empty handed and a mounting debt to settle. Savage!!!

All eyes are on the government to take drastic action against this land buying companies. The cabinet secretary for interior and cooperatives must swing into action. The ministry of lands too must be roped in. So far , no political functionary in Mt Kenya region have uttered any word on this issue. They are all silent. I don't know what they are waiting for. If they won't speak now , when will they? Of course, it is known on which issues they are good at parroting. The CEO of this Lesedi has remained cagey on this allegations but what is known is , he has already registered another land buying company to con people. Will he get victims to con? The answer is YES and from this very Mt Kenya region again. Sad!!
