  T he 2022 KCPE results are out. In many parts of Kenya, parents, guardians , teachers and pupils are celebrating their victory and other are sobbing, blaming each other and disillusioned by the results they received. Again, you cannot plant wheat and expect to harvest Rice. It isn't possible. Again, in the history of Kenya and the KCPE exams , this is the year this results were casually released by a cabinet secretary of education. The fanfare and pomp that usually took place before, during and after the release of this exam was absolutely lacking. The CS Education hurriedly conducted this exercise as if he was squizzed by his itinerary. It is the media which is doing much of the statistical analysis of the general performance of this results. What was the hurry? Does it mean the CS has this kind of contempt towards the docket he is holding? How will he behave when he will be releasing the KCSE results come January?   I t is now clear that the impeached Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza will face the Senate but this time round in a committee and not the plenary. Yesterday, a majority of senators agreed to investigate and prosecute Meru County affairs which were taken in that house by the MCAs of Meru County Assembly after impeaching their Governor in an overwhelming manner. Out of 67 MCAs , both elected and nominated, only 2 didn't agree with them. It is cognizance to note , Senate doesn't impeach a Governor. Infact, they don't have such powers. What they will do after going through the evidence brought before them , they will ventilate on it and critically collate it with a mammoth of accusations levelled against the Governor. The US - Africa leadership summit which took place in Washington DC , USA is over after three days of exchanging ideas , taking orders and hobnobbing between the African heads amongst themselves and their US government counterparts. It is a summit that took place at the height of the New Cold war between US on the one hand and Russia and China on the other hand. It is the new version of the scramble for Africa after the one which happened in 1886 , in Berlin led by Germany chancellor Otto von Bismarck. This is where European powers met and shared out Africa amongst themselves. US wasn't part of it.   I have tentatively watched the video going viral of brawl between Samidoh's two females, that is , his wife Edday and a chips funga in the name of Karen Nyamu , the self proclaimed youth president and UDA nominated senator. T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono.   O n 12th December, 1964 , Kenya became a REPUBLIC with Kenyatta seizing from being a Prime Minister but now the president of the Republic of Kenya and the commander in chief of the armed Forces (KDF). It was a very important day because, the coalition Goverment that was entered at independence between the Queen of England, Elizabeth, who was the head of State and the Governor Malcolm Macdonald was relaxed as the transition and transfer of instruments of power was in top gear. Kenyatta was to be conferred with those instruments with no qualms or hindrances though, the relationship between the African goverment and its former colonial master Britain was not immediately cut because, the former had to rely with the former.   P resident William Ruto last week made bold steps towards opening up not only democracy in this Country but also transparency in this Government. He saw the need to create the office of official opposition leader who will be funded by the exchequer and will be attending both houses of Parliament, Senate and National Assembly.   T here was this farmer by the name Mr Smiles. He used to engage in Maize farming and livestock rearing. But there was this one problem, there is a rat that  used to terrorize him. It feasted on his maize. So, he decided to take action. Together with his wife and two sons , he decided to buy a rat trap. He finally purchased it. The ray , eavesdropped on that conversation and got the intelligence information that, something was cooking and its days were numbered in Mr Smiles house.   A zimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party former presidential candidate and ODM leader Raila Odinga is at it again. He is calling for mass action to protest in whst he is calling the mutilation of the constitution 2010 and a plot by President Ruto regime to take Kenya back to the dark era of KANU under the late President Moi.
