THE AFRICA CONTINENT SHOULD HOLD ITS CANDLE FOR ITSELF NOT OTHERS.

 It is high time that Africans should stop forcing issues. That's it because, if we continue living in denial will only continue hurting ourselves and pointing fingers to others as the source of our predicaments. We all what we need to make ourselves better. We have resources , both manpower and minerals resources. We have the capacity and brains to make our lives better. The many lives from the African continent , concentrating in Tripoli, Benghazi, Fez and Cueta as they try to board dangerous treks across the Mediterranean sea and the strait of Gibraltar as they try to reach Europe cannot happed. The problem of immigrants many countries in Europe are grappling with especially Spain, France , Greece, Italy etc cannot happen if Africa can make life comfortable and a place where , Africans will feel comfortable to stay.

In this World Cup , I have seen Africans have refused to move one. Guys !! Let's move on for once and decode our minds. For the first time in the history of Africa and the World Cup in general, the five African teams which represented us in Doha, Qatar were under the management of African coaches. That is Tunisia, Cameroon, Ghana , Morocco and Senegal. All this teams have represented us well. In this 22nd edition of the World Cup unlike the previous one in Russia, 4 years ago, this teams staged a spirited fight and raised our continent high.  Though we were playing against our African brothers who seeked sanctuary in European, Asia and the America ( North and South) and the Caribbean,all wasn't lost and we are too happy that , their potential in their new homes is recognized and tapped.



Yesterday, the second semi final encounter was between Morocco and France. As usual, netizens went ahead to identify themselves with France because it has many players who hail from the African continent and bashed Morocco, the north African country which is inhabited by Arabs and Berbers who are Muslims. A majority were saying, oooh , France is more African than Morocco. This statement alone is disheartening and heartbreaking. It portrays a people who have refused to move on. It displays a people who have decided to psychologically, sociologically and culturally alienate themselves. It portrays a people still battling identity crisis. When Cameroonian born Swiss international Embolo scored against his mother country in this tournament, there was an uproar that he has betrayed this Continent and his native Country. But the question is , if Cameroon didn't find his usefulness, then, Switzerland so the potential in him and tapped it. Same with Akanji and Sow. Who played for this Swiss team.

When France was playing and won all the games they have played so far in this tournament, I didn't see any cerebrations in Algiers, Bamako , Porto Novo , Kinshasa, Libreville, Conakry , Abidjan, Yaounde etc. This are the Former French colonies where most of this players migrated from. Do they identify themselves with their native Countries? No!! They don't. In yesterday's match between Morocco and France, apart from President Emmanuel Macron of France, I didn't see any president of any Africa country that was a colony of France and especially where, this African players in this French team come from attending that match to offer their support. None , I know they are in Washington DC but that alone isn't an excuse. When France won the world cup trophy back in 2018 in Russia, did they shared that victory with Africa continent? Did they shared even a penny of sh 4.6 B money prize with Africans? No , they didn't. That victory was solely for France. Even in this World Cup, if they defend the title on Sunday, that victory will be for France not the African continent. So , let's stop living in denial. 

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) should ensure this Continent improves its football. In the next edition in 2026 , Africa will get 9 slots since it will have 48 teams. In the next AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast next year , the technology that is being applied in Qatar should also be introduced in that tournament so as to adequately prepare Africans for the next World Cup. This time round, Artificial intelligence software was used both in the VAR and the Addis balls were fitted with the technology to detect off sides , handballs etc. As I conclude, as a continent, let our brothers who left us for France enjoy themselves. Let them raise the Les bleus flag in peace. Let us stop this habit of forcing ourselves on others. Again, are they identifying themselves with your apart from Antonio Rudigger? The German of Sierra Leone origin? Let's sober up.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
