  T here is a protracted battle on who will end up with the Jubilee Party. There is the Kanini Kega led faction which has the blessings of the state especially DP Gachagua and there is another camp led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the dejure party leader and secretary general Jeremiah Kioni.   T omorrow, the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya is expected to resume their anti goverment demos but this time round, it seems it will be somehow different. So far , the Nairobi regional police commander Adamson Bungei has quashed the letter by Azimio la Umoja notifying the police that they will be holding peaceful demonstrations and picketing along various roads in the central business district. The constitution in article 37 allows for peaceful demonstrations and picketing but it continues to give a caveat on how this should to conducted. It is true the constitution is very clear but on the other hand , it doesn't advocate for the destruction of properties and loss of lives as we have seen in the previous demos where an ugly encounter between the opposition supporters and the state have led to loss of lives , injuries and destruction of properties and wanton looting.   A t Likia , Nakuru County, the village where the slain Jeff Mwathi was laid to rest and where his umbilical cord was buried with joy and his body buried in grief was a beehive of activities. The who contingent of DCI homicide sleuths and Government pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor have exhumed the body of Jeff as per the court order and forensic investigations and pathological analysis have been conducted under heavy security.   I   have critically analyzed the just concluded press conference by one DJ Fatxo who is the main person of interest in the gruesome murder of one Jeff Mwathi. This two , Mwathi and DJ Fatxo were in a business deal.   C heng Lei of China square and Nyamakima and Kamukunji traders embarked on a journey to visit a certain village deep inside Ukambani. When they arrived there , they found a dusty and beaten villagers. Hungry and emaciated and they had no shoes. Barefoot!!!! For the last three months , the Pokot bandits have been wreaking havoc in Turkana, Marakwet, Samburu, Laikipia and Baringo Counties. They have been killing and driving away with hundred of livestock believed stolen from the mentioned areas which have become the most dangerous places for human beings to live. Residents there , women, men and children have been accustomed to gunshots and sounds of whistles signaling they are under attack from their enemies.   P resident William Ruto embarked on a two day visit in Luo Nyanza, that is Homa Bay and Siaya Counties. Yesterday, he spend the better part of the day in Homa Bay county. He was welcomed by Governor Gladys Wanga , former Governor Awiti and other leaders who were or are members of the ODM party including elected Legislators in that county.
