A REUNION OF SECOND LIBERATION HEROES.

 As the presidential campaigns are coming to the homestretch , the Azimio la Umoja brigade led by its captain Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua SC will be snaking in various parts of Mūrang'a County. They will pitch tent in Maragwa Constituency at Kimorori grounds whereby , Martha Karua will be hosted by a delegation of women from Mūrang'a County. Then , the duo will invade Kangema Constituency at General Kago stadium. Here , they will hosted by the area MP Hon Muturi Kigano. The culmination of the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party tour of Mūrang'a County will be at Ihura stadium where , Mūrang'a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria will officially join Azimio la Umoja fold. Those who are seeing it as a mean feet are mistaken. If there is one leader in Mūrang'a who commands alot of influence especially to the women is Wa Iria. Back in 2017 , in all the 10 Counties that make up the larger Mt Kenya region , only Wairia successfully defended his gubernatorial seat. Reason:  he was able to have a formidable social contract with the women of his County. That's the largest pool of voters who influenced their husbands and sponsors to vote for Wairia to the last man.

Hon Kigano, Raila Odinga and Martha Karua boasts of a close knighted political and social relationship. This dates back during their quest for pluralism back in the late 80's and early 90's. Hon Martha Karua and Hon Kigano were among a pool of lawyers who represented their fellow multiparty fighters in the Courts after they were hunted down by the notorious special branch slueths and anti-riot police officers. Life during that time was difficult. This heroes were traced in every move they were making. Even their houses were bugged by the special branch so that , their communications were spied to ascertain whether they had any elements of sedition in their communications with their colleagues. A lot of lawyers chickened out from representing this liberation heroes who were fabricated with trump up charges in Kangaroo courts that were holding brief for the KANU regime. Lawyers led by Hon Muturi Kigano , Martha Karua , James Orengo , Gibson Kamau Kuria , John Khaminwa , Wanyiri Kihoro , Kiraitu Murungi etc. This leaders bit the bullet by their mouths and faced Moi's despotic Regime head on.

Hon Kigano isn't in the ballot. Yes!!! But the Azimio la Umoja cause is close to his chest. He don't feel shy to be associated with the Azimio la Umoja Raila Odinga and Martha Karua. He doesn't force himself to do it. He isn't doing it to hoodwink the outfit but deep in his heart , he is highly alienated from that Coalition party. It is imperative to note that , when this leaders sit down and reflect where this Country has come from in as far as democratization is concerned , they will always have something special that binds them together. Sometimes back , I watched a video whereby , the YK 92 , anti riot police in civilian clothes and special branch slueths descended on the Saba Saba organisers in Shauri Moyo near Kamukunji grounds with whips , blows and kicks. It was a horrible event and Hon Kigano found himself in that mix and bravely tolerated that henious ordeal.

The 1991 multipartyism clarion call is something that millennials should furnish themselves with. Instead of spending most of their precious time posting photos and creating jigs in TikTok , they should research where this Country have come from. On one hand , we have defenders of human rights , Democracy and rule of law. On the one , we have kleptomaniacs , autocrats , megalomaniacs, Authoritarians and DICTATORS. Fellows who will return Kenya to a police State , arbitrary arrests that will make victims to be incercarated with fishy charges and others to disappear through extra judicial killings. This is not a Kenya any sober Kenyan is aspiring for. Yes!!! We all want to have a Country where , you won't be walked in paranoia. A State where , freedom of expression and speech with be strangled and defiled mercilessly.


Freedom becomes a costly and important asset if you lack one. Those who have interacted with citizens of our neighbouring Countries like Uganda or Rwanda or Burundi , that's when you will realize democracy is really a very important thing. Kenya is one of the Countries in the sub Saharan Africa where , democratization is highly entrenched after Ghana. What many doesn't understand is , that very Democracy didn't come on a silver plater. Many like Raila Odinga have alot of tales to narrative. Fact!! Something he went through and not fictitious.  Azimio la Umoja opponents feel even ashamed to mention the word Democracy. It is an abomination to put that word in the same sentence with their names. History doesn't favour them at all. It is condemning them big.  That's undisputable and guilt for their past henious and atrocious acts follow them everywhere they go. Will Kenyans allow themselves to go back to the streets to fight for the third liberation? They are telling you out there that freedom is coming , which freedom is former YK 92 bringing? Which freedom is the former Internal security PS Hezekiah Oyugi blue eyed boy in the person of Gachagua bringing?

Martha Karua and Raila Odinga are offering hope for Kenyans. Those who are much acquainted with the history of this Country understands very well the people they can't trust with the instruments of POWER. They know the kind of people who can lead Kenya from degenerating from a democratic State to a pariah State like Somalia. As a Country , you can't complain of this current Government for mishandling your affairs and then go on to give one of the suspects of that bangling to be your next president. This is hilarious from the word go. A problem cannot be solved by the same level of mentality that created it in the first place. So , as Kangema and Mūrang'a County as a whole prepares to welcome Raila -Karua , let's put into cognizance that , the duo are better placed to lead this Country.  That's factual. Welcome to Kangema Raila Odinga. Welcome to Kangema Martha Karua. Welcome to Kangema Azimio la Umoja brigade. The future is Luminous.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
