Yesterday I took time to read this story that featured in the Sunday Nation. After completing the first three paragraphs , I was mouth agape. I wondered what else is awaiting for me in the next 10 to 15 paragraphs. So, DP Ruto is that temperamental and he is quick to anger. Word has it that if there is a tournament for domestic violence , someone whispered to me that the man from Kamagut can go home with that trophy. How that is true I don't know but after reading this story that has generated more heat than light in this Zuckerberg streets , it can certify it. But why should a Deputy President decide to take such an action towards his boss just because they have failed to reach into and agreement? That means , if he was in a possession of a lethal weapon , he could have done something nasty to his boss who is the President of the republic of Kenya. The 2017 presidential election was cancelled by the supreme court bench and an order was issued to IEBC to conduct fresh presidential repeat election.
From the word go , President Uhuru Kenyatta was irked and irritated after the four supreme court judges nullified his victory. Only two Judges upheld Jubilee Party victory while one judge abstained. Many African Governments, South of Sahara and North of River Limpopo were shocked. In th African continent , something like that has never happened. There are those who were asking, are those judges still in Kenya or have they fled in exile? Off course, they were answered in verbatim that , they are still around and that shows that Kenya is a haven of Democracy and a paragon of virtue to be emulated by other African States. Infact, the Malawi supreme Court relied on Kenya's Supreme Court ruling to nullify the President Mbingu wa Mutharika victory after the opposition leader and now the President of Malawi His Excellence Lazarus Chakwera petitioned the highest Court in that Country.
Ruto believed it was his right to continue being the deputy president of Kenya whether people will die or not. Whether the President will adhere to the Supreme Court ruling or not because , how could President Uhuru Kenyatta refuse to participate in the repeat presidential election? How yet the victory was theirs and a few individuals sitting in the bench of the Supreme Court subvert the will of more than 8 million voters? But Ruto should not think President Uhuru Kenyatta was that dump , ignoramus and simpletonic to refuse to participate in that re-run knowing too well his political bastion had rioted in the ballot the Thuraku ( ants) way to vote for him to the last man. Infact , what Ruto didn't know is that , even if Uhuru retreated to Ichaweri as Ruto is insuniating, UHURU would have been voted in again by his supporters in his absentia. During the swearing in Ceremony, he would have been coming from Ichaweri and not State House to go to Kasarani Stadium for that ceremony. Fact!!!!

Let's ask us some very hard questions that will open our third eye. How could have President Uhuru Kenyatta let go the re-run when he had used millions of money and energy to form Jubilee Party which was Jubilee Alliance that brought about numerous political parties together back in 2013? In fact , in 2017 during the formation of Jubilee Party , many political parties were strangled to death. That task was given to former Kwanza MP Noah Wekesa. Political Parties like URP and Mbus of kiraitu Murungi died a natural death. Ruto himself was duped when President Uhuru Kenyatta feigned ignorance and clueless but he was infact on top of things. Ruto's goose was cooked even before the 2017 general elections but UHURU played cool. He knew he badly needed a second term in office but behaved like someone who had given up. As a good student of Tzu Sun , he applied this rule , when near , let the opponent see as if you are far away and when far away , let the opponent see as if you are near. Feign ignorance and then crush your opponent with zero mercies.
President Uhuru Kenyatta opponent back in 2017 was not NASA's presidential candidate Raila Odinga. ZERO!!! His opponent was his DP who had played the stick and carrot politics from 2013 -2017 by even threatening him with an impeachment if he doesn't go slow on his fight on corruption because the target was the ministries which Ruto was given after they shared the government in a manner bank robbers shares the loot after a successful robbery. Fact!!! The ministry of Agriculture and Energy is where corruption was monumental. When the President raised the alarm , he was told off by his Deputy President who even today still behaves as if he is a co-president to Uhuru Kenyatta. All this madness , President Uhuru Kenyatta was taking stock and tabulating somewhere and since he wanted a second term , he even commandeered his troops the likes of Murathe to maintain their cool and focus on the bigger picture which was the second term victory.

Ruto sometimes back inorder to wittle the allegations that he had hatched a plan to impeach his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta, he diverted the attention of Kenyans that it is Raila Odinga who had approached him and sold him that idea. Fine!! But let ask ourselves , who would have benefitted from that impeachment? Ruto or Raila? Off course , it is Ruto who was a direct beneficiary if that plan which Ruto insinuates Raila Odinga sold to him was fruitful. Then , how would Raila who was nursing the injuries of losing a presidential election could have joined with someone who was part of the pair that defeated him , conspire to impeach a sitting President and then his Deputy President becomes a beneficiary then him ( Raila) go home empty handed? Was Raila a seasoned politician be that foolish to be duped that way? In short , the answer was simple , Ruto wanted to impeach his boss. Livondo during the Moses Kuria thanks giving ceremony at Thika Stadium let out the cat by spilling both the maize , beans and groundnuts. I wind repeat what he said but it is out here in the public domain and especially in this social media spaces which have turned to be Kenyans best archives.
It is at this juncture that now am getting concrete answers as to why Ruto was so bitter with the March 13 , 2018 Handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his political nemesis turned ally Raila Odinga. From that day , Ruto became bitter. Even today , if you have noted , his level and anger and bitterness can register some measurements on the ritcher scale. He is bitter with everyone and anything near him including himself. The height of his anger was witnessed during the launching of Kenya Kwanza Alliance manifesto at Kasarani auditorium where he intimated that if he becomes the 5th president of Kenya , he will initiate charges againaist his boss. If he dared to slap him , planned an impeachment on him and even to cut short his consumption of oxygen , how can he convince us that he can't initiate judicial proceedings aganaist him by setting up kangaroo judicial commission of inquiry which can be marred with which hunt rather than reason? But wait!!! Do we have GEMA nation people out here celebrating from Ruto's threats towards President Uhuru Kenyatta? If there is , owe unto you. After getting done with Uhuru Kenyatta, his family and close friends , he will come for you and there will be no one to speak for you.
The big question is , if Ruto gets the instruments of POWER , what will he do? Will he re-introduce back the kind of leadership President Moi's KANU regime that oppressed Kenyans for 24 years of Presidency. It is factual that Ruto will be a tyrant per excellent and the first casualty to be chewed by the jaws of that Authoritarian and dictatorial regime will be Rigathi Gachagua. The rest of UDA caramaderie especially in Mt Kenya region will either be jailed or forced into exile. The script that Ruto borrowed from KANU regime will be unleashed to us Kenyans. You have the choice to either vote for stranglers of Democracy and human rights or vote for Democrats and custodians of human rights. The ball is in your court.
