Before Uhuru Kenyatta declared that he was jostling to vie for the presidential seat , he had 3.5 Million votes from the GEMA nation under his armpits. Ruto had 1.5 million votes in his pocket from his Kalenjin Nation and this is undisputed fact. Even before I proceed further, Ruto should stop hoodwinking the residents of Mt Kenya region and Kenyans at large that he made UHURU KENYATTA the 4th president of the Republic of Kenya. The two leaders were indicted for serious crimes aganaist humanity at the Hague based Court. At first , President Uhuru Kenyatta had given up on vying for the presidential seat and opined that he will back the then Amani Coalition presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi. When the GEMA nation received this information , there was a backlash first from the Kikuyu Council of Elders and the Nchuri Ncheke who seeked audience with UHURU KENYATTA then the MP for Gatundu South , Minister for Finance and Deputy Prime Minister.
After a serious soul searching , UHURU KENYATTA retracted his earlier decision abs offered himself as a presidential candidate on a Jubilee Alliance after his TNA party and URP of William Ruto came together in a political marriage which took place at Afraha Stadium. A sea of humanity was present to witness this marriage which has now turned to be a marriage of convenience but no love between this two bossom buddies who in 2013 after taking over the government were doning in similar outfits in a fashion that left many excited and mouth agape. All this while , the ICC was on their necks. The case aganaist them was very serious. Henious and atrocious crimes of crimes aganaist humanity aren't easy especially when their are on your shoulders. This case whipped the emotions of Mt Kenya region residents who for the first time since the inception of pluralism , they have never voted the way they did back in 2013.
Ruto should stop fooling Kenyans and especially the residents of Mt Kenya region. It is not him who made them to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta in large numbers. The most factual thing is that , with Ruto bringing his 1.5 M votes from his Kalenjin Nation , UHURU KENYATTA was a gentleman. He gave him the Deputy President slot and half of the government. Ruto then went ahead to fill the slots of the government portfolios given to him with his tribe only. This is a fact that can't be disputed. Even with all that , he too short changed the Kipsigis community who voted for him in large numbers , he didn't give them a single cabinet secretary slot only after the uproar that he gave Charles Keter the energy slot after Davis Chirchir was sacked.
DAMAGING IGNORANCE
Political kingmakers don't make themselves Kings. Fact!! Raila Odinga understands this too well and that reality has hit him well. In 2002 , his Kibaki Tosha slogan swept KANU into political oblivion never to recover again. To date , the ruling party is struggling to remain afloat. It is a pale shadow of its former self. Ruto has been off late been telling his supporters that it his him who made President Uhuru Kenyatta the head of State. In this statement , he is portraying himse as a political kingmaker but what he doesn't know is that , he won't make himself the President. Fact!!! He will be made the President of Kenya in the near future or even fail to be one.

The undisputed fact is that , it is Uhuru Kenyatta who made William Ruto who he is today and not the other way round. So , when DP is telling us he made UHURU KENYATTA the president, am wondering because back in 2017 , Ruto expressed himself as someone who is drunk for power. He was a workaholic during the CAMPAIGNS because he was competing with his boss in the CAMPAIGNS especially in Mt Kenya region. He wanted all the time to follow President Uhuru Kenyatta in his campaign forays especially in Mt Kenya region yet , residents here had confirmed that they don't have any other candidate apart from UHURU KENYATTA. Then , why should you continue nagging people who have assured you their votes and more so in large numbers?
This was hypocritical of Ruto so that , a day like today , he will storm Uhuru's political bastion of Mt Kenya region and claim he campaigned for Ruto. Would Ruto come forward and tell Mt Kenya region residents and Kenyans at large how many political campaigns did they did jointly with Uhuru Kenyatta in his political bastion of Rift Valley especially in Uasin Gishu , Kericho , Bomet, Nandi or Marakwet Counties? All this regions , Ruto was combing them alone together with his kinsmen the likes of Murkomen , Sudi etc. The trick many should understand is that , there is ZERO vote Ruto hunted for UHURU in as far as 2017 is concerned. Politics is all about interests. Uhuru campaigned to safeguard his PRESIDENTIAL seat. Ruto too campaigned to safeguard his DP slot. Now , why is he bragging now that he made UHURU KENYATTA as the president of Kenya? "Si ni Mimi nilisaidia UHURU KENYATTA kuwa Rais." This is a statement Ruto is using to fill Kenyans. Fine!! If it is so , why is he irked when President Uhuru Kenyatta is supporting Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party Raila Odinga abd his running mate Martha Karua? What is that he is fearing Uhuru can do to scuttle his PRESIDENTIAL bid which he is earnestly doing.
Again I will pose this question to us , if truly Ruto made UHURU president , why is he bitter when he is supporting Raila? Instead of providing a concrete answer , many Kenya Kwanza Alliance will start venting their anger and feelings on this post and me as a person. But am posing a genuine question. And again , Raila Odinga has been a kingmaker sometimes back but he has never qualified to make himself a King even after having a huge support base behind him. This time round , Raila Odinga will not make himself the 5th President of Kenya but he will be made the president. This is a reality Ruto knows that the only person who will engineer all that is his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. Fact!!! UHURU knows his estranged DP Ruto in and out. He knows he is a fellow who is of choleric and whimsical feelings. That's why he keeps irritating him once in a while. By hitting back on his boss , Ruto perfectly falls into the traps set for him. That's why after realizing he is falling in UHURU's traps , he turns bitter and emotional. If you have closely monitored him , he has become one. A bitter MAN.
MASTER TACTICIAN
Ruto claims that back in 2017 , he was campaigning more than president Uhuru Kenyatta. The question we should be asking ourselves is , if Cambridge analytica was present and was at the helm and top of things, then, why was the need of president UHURU KENYATTA and his strategic think tank spend more energy when they would apply brains to accomplish their tasks. Ruto thinks doing more political rallies is a recipe of garnering more votes. Nope!! That's not the case. Again , there were reasons only known by Ruto himself as to why he was waking up early in the morning to start his campaign schedule even before the president. This was a plot by him to show the president was lazy and that he was hardworking. Sad!!!
President Uhuru Kenyatta back in 2013 played reverse psychology on his political bastion when he publicly stated that he will not vie for the presidential seat and instead drop in favour of Musalia Mudavadi of Amani Coalition. From the word go , he knew he will be in the ballot whether with the ICC case in his neck or not. The GEMA nation was looking upon him since President Mwai Kibaki was going home. The right person to carry the mantle was Uhuru Kenyatta. Again in 2017 after supreme court nullified his PRESIDENTIAL victory , he feigned that he has given up and was ready to retreat in his rural home in Ichaweri, Gatundu South Constituency. This too was reverse psychology. How could he have jettisoned from a race yet he had used billions to make Jubilee Party? How??? Someone was being duped. The hunter in that case became the hunted. The hunted person here was Ruto and his URP thing. Painful truth.
