HOW KURIA IS PLAYING STICK AND CARROT POLITICS ON RUTO.

It is now clear that Chama Cha Kazi party leader and Kiambu County Gubernatorial candidate is holding Ruto by his balls. He is playing games and tricks on him by forcing him to campaign for him at the expense of UDA's gubernatorial candidate Kimani Wamatangi. Just the other day , Moses Kuria complained of mistreatment and lack of recognition as a member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Ruto cannot warm up for Kuria and all what Kuria is doing is forcing him to advance his gubernatorial bid by hiding behind the so called Hustlers from Kiambu County. In his thinking , Kuria believes that , he is the best placed to campaign for Ruto's Presidential bid. The question is, if that is the case , it is Ruto who should be looking for Ruto and not the vice versa.

When UDA took its campaign in Nakuru County for two days , Moses Kuria was present. He forgot that he had teared the Alliance apart by claiming that , they transport people in their rallies to create a perception to Kenyans especially those who don't subscribe to Kenya Kwanza Alliance that they have numbers. That was a fatal stab on the back of Ruto. Indeed ,that was confirmed when Ruto's running mate Rigathi Gachagua transported supporters in a lorry when he took his campaign in Kieni Constituency. Was Rigathi confirming Kuria's revelation to be true? Off course it was and this left the whole outfit with an egg on its face. Kabogo jettisoned from the Kenya Kwanza Alliance. The two ( him and Kuria) complained of mistreatment by UDA in Kenya Kwanza Alliance and everybody was anticipating that both will move out of that Alliance. Cunningly , Kuria realized that he needs Ruto more than Ruto needs him.

During the launch of the Kiambu Hustler fund , Moses Kuria invited DP Ruto. That invitation was sinister from the word go. He was just fixing Ruto because , he wanted to test whether he still believes Kuria is ripe to hunt for votes in Kiambu County and the larger Mount Kenya region. In Kiambu County, Ruto managed to consolidate his support base without the help of the local politicians. Infact , it is them who needs him and not the vice versa. They are pegging their Election victory not on their development record especially to the incumbents defending their seats but by hanging on Ruto's political coat as they did on UHURU's back in 2017. The presence of Ruto in Kuria's event was to confirm to UDA's honchos that his relationship with DP is still solid and unshakable. If you see keen observer , there is no UDA politician from Kiambu County and without who graced that event. Ruto was alone and didn't stay long before embarking on his daily campaign errands.

All what Kuria wanted is for the camera to capture Ruto arriving and giving his remarks on that hustler funds initiative aganaist his wishes. Ruto cannot fathom WAMATANGI who is vying on his party ticket losing to opportunist Moses Kuria who is just advancing his own political cause to the detriment of Ruto's Presidential bid. From where am seated , I feel the likes of Rigathi may have advised Ruto not to grace event but as a calculative political animal , decided to attend it but hunt for his own votes while keeping Kuria's gubernatorial bid at bay. He didn't even expressed symptoms of campaigning for Moses Kuria gubernatorial bid. He siezed the opportunity of a well organized event where he contributed zero coin for its existence and his his own show. Ruto isn't as foolish as Kuria wants him to look. Fact!!! Infact, it is of the opinion of Ruto that KURIA should shelve his Gubernatorial bid and support Wamatangi of UDA.  Without him doing so , Ruto won't warm up for him politically at any given time. Let him not force himself to Ruto, he has no business with him. Ruto is seeing him as a political opponent and not as a friend.

Playing the stick and carrot on Ruto , this is where Kuria will lose terribly. What he is forgetting is that , it is him Ruto who roped them into the Tanga Tanga fold. He didn't even convinced h to rebel the Jubilee Party and Government. Infact , Ruto tasked Kuria to personally attack President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family in exchange for political goodies. After Kuria excuted that assignment with much precision , he was later betrayed by the very person who tasked him to even take the battle towards the President in his doorstep when the whole Kenya Kwanza Alliance pitched tent in Mutomo, Gatundu South Constituency. This is where Kuria took no prisoners and without holding his horses , hurled unprintable words towards Raila Odinga and also a swipe and disparaging remarks towards the first family. After he was hospitalized, the whole battalion deserted him but during the dying moments when he was taken to Dubai , Ruto in his businesses remember his attack poodle was hospitalized someone in a hospital in Dubai. He was to pay him a courtesy visit but it was all cosmetic and just playing to the gallery.

If the relationship between Kuria and Ruto was formidable and solid as he makes people believe, Ruto would have endorsed him for Kiambu gubernatorial seat long time ago irrespective of his political party. He would have zoned Kiambu County and leave it for Chama Cha Kazi. Savage!!! Ok , let me assume that Ruto would have found it hard to leave the entire Kiambu County for Kuria's Chama Cha Kazi but what about the gubernatorial seat? Why did Ruto planted Wamatangi with UDA to the detriment of Kuria's Chama Cha Kazi? Someone is being played on , used , misused and re-used. It is the proverbial story of the Hunter becoming the hunted. All Kuria's trick of trying to play stick and carrot politics on Ruto have hit a dead end. He is all alone and in as far as Kiambu gubernatorial seat is concerned , he won't win.  All the UDA parliamentary and ward aspirants in that County will decampaign him the way they did to Kabogo back in 2017. Fact!!!
