Yesterday , there was an ugly spat between former Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo and Kiambu Senator Kimani wa Matangi that was very could have escalated into a all out War between the two and their supporters. The bitter exchange of words between the two in broad daylight and infront of the litany of cameras exposed the UDA party and the whole Kenya Kwanza Alliance as a house made of clay and the huge rain drops were about to wreck havoc on it. Infront of Rigathi Gachagua , he didn't do anything meaningful to quell the rising tension , consternation and pandemonium. Peace was about to be suspended. The only effort our estranged designated "Deputy President" did was to call Jaguar to sing Kigeugeu song inorder to cool down the tension and anger that had occupied hectares of space in that Political rally.
It was not long since UDA Mt Kenya region chapter declared in unison that , they will only be recognizing aspirants for various seats in the region who are in UDA and not in other affiliate political parties like Tujibebe Wakenya party of Kabogo , Chama Cha Kazi of Moses Kuria , The service party of Kiunjuri etc. According to UDA , this parties are negligible and that , they are just briefcase Parties that are led by political brokers. That's tjr statement DP Ruto in verbatim said in a political rally in Mt Kenya region and not outside that region. The choice of where to spew those disparaging remarks was very strategic. The question is , why is Kabogo and Kuria forcing themselves in Kenya Kwanza Alliance? We all know and those who don't know and also those who know but they are feigning ignorance is , UDA is Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Kenya Kwanza Alliance is UDA. The spat between Kabogo and WAMATANGI had full blessings from UDA party honchos from Nairobi and in Kiambu County.
The earlier Kabogo and Kuria jettison from that Alliance where is a mongrel type from its inception the better. They are unwelcome there and the kind of the character development thru are receiving there have full BLESSINGS and authorization from one William Ruto. He still hold the low opinion he had forced earlier on this very Mt Kenya region political parties. What's disheartening is ,they were warned. A red flag was hoisted on top of Mt Kenya but they couldn't hearken it. Just like the old Gíkûyū seer and prophet Mūgo wa Kibirū told the mountaineers that , "there shall come people with clothes like butterflies. They will steal your land , subject you to taxes and also to forced labour in your very own farms." The people laughed at him and even called him names. Finally , that is exactly what happened. It was disastrous. A problem they would have avoided it initially became a thone to their flesh for more than a century.

This politicians from Mt Kenya region who formed their political parties were warned of joining Kenya Kwanza Alliance with no discernible plan. They refused. The only thing they wanted to show is total defiance to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee Party. Fine!!! They did it with bitterness only to end up blowing their feet with their own bullets. Now , they are wounded and limping politically. Moses Kuria is wailing and whinning that , William Ruto is preferring his UDA political honchos at the expense of other players in Kenya Kwanza Alliance. The honest truth is , kwa ground vitu ni different. That Alliance only exists in the shelves of the office of the registrar of political parties. Period!!!!
Ruto must be the one captaining his political rallies in Mt Kenya region id not so , his goose is cooked. When he is not around , even his running mate cannot do anything meaningful to hunt votes for him. Just like I have been saying , Ruto's basket of votes in Mt Kenya region is losing each vote every hour. For now , there is no vote which is being added in that basket. He only needs to ring fence the existing ones failure to which , he will be left with a shell come August 9th. For the last two times he has excused himself from a joint rally with Rigathi Gachagua , there has no no mojo or traction. Yesterday's political tour in kiambu was just flat. That means that , all those aspirants vying on UDA ticket in Mt Kenya region needs Ruto more than Ruto needs them. No wonder , Ruto didn't enter into a deal with Mt Kenya region leaders. He knew very well , there are no votes they are hunting but it is him who is hunting votes for them.
The most honest truth is , Mt Kenya region aspirants on a UDA ticket are just using him for their own political interests without worrying what will befall of Ruto. Thru are all scrambling to insert Ruto's photo on their campaign posters and other merchandise because , they know , by hanging on his coat the way majority did in 2017 when they inserted President Uhuru Kenyatta portrait to clinch their respective political seats after riding on a euphoria which was sweeping across the region. Ruto should be a worried man. He is being used. YES!!! He bought the wrong people instead of hiring them. During the day , they feign how committed they are in UDA and Ruto's presidential course but at night , they are pushing their own narratives telling Wanjiku to vote for them but for the presidential seat , they make their own Political decisions.
In other news , Gachagua should choose either he is campaigning for Ruto's Presidential bid or he wants to join the police force. Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai can enroll him in Kigano Police College or Embakasi AP training school because off late , he has become so much obsessed with the welfare of the police or just apply for a slot in National Police Commission. It is that simple.
