THE CHURCH SHOULD LEAVE WAJACKOYAH ALONE.

I am thinking loudly why the church has decided to descend on one Prof George Wajackoyah who is one on the presidential candidates in the forth coming August 9th general elections. Is it because of his Policy that , if he becomes the 5th president of Kenya , he will allow the commercial growing of marijuana? But that is what the good Prof have seen can help eradicate Kenya's problems. Why is the church playing hypocritical? So , their only problem with Wajackoyah is because he is advocating the usage and the planting of marijuana? Or is it because he has advocated that , as a President , he will allow domestication of poisonous snakes? Is the Church too still hold in the reasoning that snakes symbolize the DEVIL?

The other presidential candidates , that is Azimio la Umoja's Raila Odinga and Kenya Kwanza Alliance William Ruto are only promising goodies to Kenyans that will require billions of shillings in a struggling Kenya's economy which is grappling with severe galloping inflation and huge public debt but no one is telling how they will repay this huge debts. Agano Party presidential candidate Senior Counsel Mwaure Waihiga has only told us that if he can be elected as the next President , he will jail all the Covid 19 millionaires thieves. Good. He hasn't promised Kenyans anything in the form of social welfare. Not even a particle of sugar. The only PRESIDENTIAL candidate who has come forward to tell us how he will off set the huge public debt is one Prof George Wajackoyah of Roots Party of Kenya. The question we should be asking us is , why is the Church getting irked? Which crime is that that Wajackoyah has committed?

The modern Church has become very hypocritical. It is now irked by Prof but it is leading in entertaining politicians to engage in money laundering in its premises. The pulpit has lost its meaning off late. Politicians use it to preach hatred , tribal sentiments and attack on elected president just because they have fell out with some of this politicians. Let the church come out clean. It should be honest for once and try hard to reclaim its lost glory. This ain't the church of the heydays of the late Catholic archbishop Ndingi Mwana Nzeki , Bishop Alexander Muge , Reverend Timothy Njoya , Bishop Lai etc who took the despotic KANU regime head on. Today , we have kleptomaniacs and Megalomaniacs preaching for us. They are exploiting their sheep like no one business and even not sparing them , going to an extent of feeding on them.

From my end , am not being harsh on the Church because am a Christian who is independent minded. I have never allowed myself to follow religion in a dogmatic manner. I question some of the things churned out by the clergies. That's why Kenyans should not allow themselves to be hoodwinked by politicians who are camouflaging in the Church inorder to hide their blemishes. To hide their real characters and selves. The church is now becoming critical with Prof Wajackoyah but it cannot be critical to politicians accused of embezzling public monies and then stash it in Churches in the name of tithes , offerings and engaging in church buildings. At that point , they sanitize such politicians and also defy them by showering them with accolades and comparisons with notable people in the holy Bible. Hypocrisy 101.

The Church should first clean itself. It should first instill confidence in majority of kenyans who have started deserting it. I have noted majority of Kenyans have started giving this worship centres a wide berth. We have reached a point whereby , the church has started categorizing which outfits to be worn in church. Fine , it is good. But , when Prof Wajackoyah wore unfinished jean outfit , it is Haram to the Church but when the female gender don in tight and miniskirts , it is fine. Hypocrisy!!! Prof Wajackoyah is not a mad man. This is someone who has spent more years in Europe and the West and when he says that marijuana can be used to offset out ballooning public debt , he knows what he is saying. I have never heard the Church condemning alcohol brewing companies like Eabl , Keroche etc which have been manufacturing some alcoholic drinks which are akin to poison but when Wajackoyah says marijuana to be allowed but be regulated just like alcohol is regulated. That's his opinion and it should be respected. What the Church ain't aware is , Prof Wajackoyah is resonating with alot of Kenyans who haven't eveloped their minds with hypocrisy. Yes!!!

It is imperative to note that, marijuana usage is prohibited in Kenya. Infact , peddling it may make you spend life sentence behind the gallows. But before we lynch Prof Wajackoyah in tjr Court of public opinion, let listen to him. The church should stop castigating him without interrogating in deep what the Prof is trying to put across. Giant pharmaceutical companies in the World , use marijuana in metric tonnes to manufactur drugs that are used to treat chronic diseases like cancer. In those countries, marijuana is an important product. In Kenya, religion rubbishes it but it offers no cure to such a disease that has made many households to be poor. The cost of treatment is very costly.

The Church should first clean itself. Fact!!! Then point finger at Prof Wajackoyah. I haven't heard it scrutinizing some of the pledges the other presidential candidates are offering. Snake poison is also an ingredient used by this pharmaceutical industries. In Thailand , Cambodia , Myanmar , Laos , India , Nepal etc , snakes are reared inorder their poison to be harvested for sale. I fully resonate with Prof George Wajackoyah. He isn't a fool the way the Church wants Kenyans to see him. Infact, Kenyans should call the church out. It should stop applying double standards. If you people recall, President UHURU KENYATTA declined its plea to mediate between Him and his Deputy. He gave a very genuine reason, the many insults DP Ruto's allies spewed towards him were hurled in the pulpit and not in political rallies. So, the church is the main accessory to those crimes and at the same time , masquerading to offer arbitration services. Let's stop preaching water and drinking concentrated 🍷.
