DEAR SAKAJA , GEMA NATION WILL REVISIT.
Today , Nairobi County Senator and gubernatorial candidate Johnson Koskei Sakaja was hosted by Inooro TV morning show host Kamau wa Kang'ethe for an interview and also to share his manifesto to the residents of NAIROBI. He is vying on a UDA ticket and we all know why the party leader DP William Ruto decided to reward him. Under the word reward because it is after completing a very crucial task in the flow of the Senate that made him to be rewarded. In that very exercise , the GEMA nation and the whole Mt Kenya region was disenfranchised. I want any GEMA nation who will read this article to open their their 3rd eye. They should read it with their mind totally shut because , we must weed out our enemies who during the day , they feign who close and loving they are towards us but at night , they are drawing daggers on us. That's the highest stupidity and nitwit reasoning and we should call a spade a spade and not a big spoon. Fact!!!
Sakaja told us he has a special relationship with Kikuyus because he is married to them. In short , he is a "müthoniwa" ( in-law) but this isn't enough to hoodwink us as a community. It is true that , GEMA nation are of much importance especially in driving the economy of this Country. No wonder I have been saying , immediately after the 9th August general elections , they will go back to their factory settings and think about their businesses without caring much whether it is Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga or UDA presidential candidate William Ruto. If you are there thinking the GEMA nation can demonstrate just because either of the two leading presidential contenders will lose , you are lost. They can't. They will behave as if there was no elections in the first place. Fact!!!
Senator Sakaja was voted in with massive votes back in 2017. Today he said how President Uhuru Kenyatta , back then when he was the Minister for Finance and Deputy Prime Minister during the grand coalition Government. It is Uhuru Kenyatta who picked the young Sakaja and gave him a job in thr Treasury. When the elections of 2013 was drawing to its homestretch ,UHURU unveiled his political party ,The National Alliance ( TNA). Without looking the tribe and the age of Johnson Sakaja , President Uhuru Kenyatta as a party leader picked Sakaja as the party chairman. For those who can remember , during the Kangema parliamentary by elections after the demise of Hon Michuki , the party conducted its nominations and settled on the late Hon Ngahu. Sakaja played a critical role in ensuring that TNA clinched that seat where it ended up winning that seat.
After the Jubilee Alliance took over power back in 2013 , President Uhuru Kenyatta rewarded Sakaja for his loyalty , astuteness , resilient and prowess is steering the TNA party. He was nominated to the National Assembly to represent the Youth. In 2017, he had declared his intentions to vie for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat. That seat had already attracted bigwigs like Peter Kenneth , Mike Sonko, Dennis Waweru and Margaret Wanjiru. It is President Uhuru who convinced him to drop his gubernatorial ambitions and vie for Nairobi Senatorial seat on a Jubilee Party ticket. He ended up winning with majority votes whereby , a majority of them were from his Luhya community followed by the GEMA nation residing in Nairobi. Fact!!

Nairobi County Senator Johnson Sakaja even lost some kilos when he led a contingent of Senators in opposing the bill which was meant to add revenue to Mt Kenya region Counties without disenfranchising the other Counties especially from the Northern Frontier Counties and those in Rift Valley and lies under the category of Arid and Semi Arid Lands ( ASALs). Sakaja gave Chief whip Irungu Kangata who was blowing both hot and cold. During the day he masqueraded to push the bill but at night , he was bedding with the opponents. That's why , he kept on postponing the sittings citing lack of quorum. All those Senators who opposed that bill have been rewarded with direct tickets under Kenya Kwanza Alliance to vie for Gubernatorial seat. That's undisputable fact. The question is , why is Sakaja now masquerading that he loves the GEMA nation? If he fought hard to shoot down the initial recommendations of the County Revenue bill of 2020 that was ment to add money to the very community fairly , what is he telling us?
During the impeachment of Governor Mike Sonko , Sakaja played non partisan yet , as a Senator for Nairobi County , he ought to have been in the forefront to ensure they get quality services from the County Goverment. Instead , he oversaw Sonko administration metting serious Economic and social crimes on them before the president came to their rescue through Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) which Sakaja has vowed to abolish once he is elected as the next GOVERNOR of Nairobi. This is a disaster in waiting. Dear Nairobians , if you have tasted the goodies of NMS , please don't vote in Sakaja. He will make you poor , fail to provide essential services and oversee the suffering of hawkers in Nairobi's CBD instead of finding a solution for them.
Mt Kenya region residents in Nairobi , Sakaja fixed you in the Senate back in 2020 , it is your time to FIX him at the ballot come August 9th at the ballot with ZERO mercies. Don't be carried by the UDA euphoria and forget that , you must deal with your enemy in a Machiavellian way. No mercy at the ballot. The sad thing is Nairobi County was gaining big in that revenue bill but Sakaja decided to forego the funds inorder for Mt Kenya region Counties not to get the additional funding. Very sad. Very heartbreaking. We will revisit.
