IS UDA A POLITICAL PARTY OR IT IS JUST METAMORPHOSING INTO A RELIGIOUS CULT?

 

I have noted with alot of concern the queer behavior this UDA party has been displaying off late. They are descending to any person they feel from their nitwit reasoning that doesn't should the name of God or Jesus in Political rallies like they do and quickly categorize him as a unchristian. That's what they have been doing with no iota of shame and decorum. Led by their party leader who has been deifying himself as the new political and RELIGIOUS "Ayatollah" . To him , all his competitors for thr presidential seat led by his arch rival Raila Odinga are unchristian and that , he is the one who is the Heavens representative here on Earth. He is quick to tell us how Raila doesn't believe in God just because he doesn't attend church each Sunday and also because , when he contributes to the church he doesn't make it public how much he has contributed. But then , he isn't a pharisee .

Kenya is a secular State and that , the government cannot coerce anybody or community to belong to a certain religious group or to subscribe to any religious beliefs. I said sometimes back thst , KENYA is not a theocratic State like Islamic Republica of Iran whereby , religion forms a yardstick of our political affiliation and system. If it is so , why are UDA coteries so much bothered on other political leaders religious beliefs? Religion is a person issue. We have Anglicans , seventh day Adventists , Presbyterians , traditional religious beliefs like Dini ya Msambwa or Kavonokia  , Hindu and Ismaili etc. All this people forms part of the Kenyan community. We also have animists who attach their religious beliefs to animals. We also have atheists in Kenya and the bill of rights as enshrined in our constitution fully protects them. Thru are also registered legally by the registrar of Societies. So , why do UDA coteries keeps on lecturing to is and portraying themselves to the rest of kenyans who don't belong to thst outfit that , we belong to hell?

Yesterday in the Sunday Nation , one Mūrang'a County Senator penned an article titled "Raila's bid inimical to religious Kenyans." Inside thst article , Kangata is very quick to point fingers on Prof Makau Mutua and Hon Martha Karua SC. First , he is accusing Martha of supporting abortion. My question is , when did she fully supported it? Martha or waded on that thorny issue of abortion which to day remain unconstitutional and illegal in Kenya. Abortion is only legal in Kenya when the life of the mother is at risk. That's when a medical doctor is permitted by law to do it. But Hon Kangata decided to use selective amnesia by dragging religious beliefs on that issue. That's why am saying ,UDA is slowly metamorphosing itself into a religious cult and derailing from the core functions of it being a political outfit.

Hon Kangata didn't end there , he went on to pick Prof Makau Mutua. He is Azimio la Umoja presidential secretariat honcho who is running errands for Raila Odinga and Martha Karua. He accused him of supporting LGBT in Kenya. The question is , do we have those people amongst us in the society? Yes!! Do the constitution protects their rights? Yes!! Again , tht bill of rights gives this people the liberty to conduct their affairs as long as they don't trespass on other Kenyans rights. Kangata knows it since he is an elected leader and a lawyer by profession. His greatest weakling is when he decides to through our his professionalism out of the window. Now , he was crucifying Raila Odinga and pouring cold water on his PRESIDENTIAL bid just because of associating himself with people whom from his narrow vision they don't conform to societal morality. This is retrogressive thinking that Kenyans shouldn't embrace from the word go.

It is good to note that , the late President Moi was a ruthless dictator Kenya and Africa has ever had. He ruled Kenya for 24 years using the iron fist. Inorder to hide his claws , he embedded himself in religion. He was a staunch African Inland Church ( AIC) whereby , he never missed a church service. He was very generous in contributing towards that church activities. Again , in offering the tithe , he didn't fail to do so. The holy Bible was his closest companion. He had deified himself to a type of  "Ayatollah" too who was worshipped sycophantly by the likes of Mark Too , Kariuki Chotara , Kuria Kanyingī , Oloitiptip etc. They elevated him to the sane level of Jehovah Elohim. In all that hypocrisy , president Moi had blood in his hands all the time because of his abuse of State machinery especially on his political adversaries. 

That's how William Ruto is converting UDA to look like and the good thing is that , majority of Kenyans are decoding this hypocrisy of leaders owning God even more than the clergy. The aim is to brain wash Kenya using the religious charm rather than selling the party manifesto and ideologies. The hustlers dynasty narrative died a natural death. Now , the bottoms up Economic model is being fused with biblical connotations inorder to hoodwink Kenyans who are now very alert. They say when the gods wants to deal with you , they first make you MAD. YES!!! You just make silly mistakes that expose your religious blemishes. Yesterday , DP Ruto inorder to advance his political agenda , he misquoted a verse of the Bible , Matthew 17:29 which doesn't exist anyway. Today , netizens has castigated and chided him in a big way. His lies are being deciphered in a big way.  You can fool people sometimes but you can't fool them all the time.

It is high tom DP Ruto and his surrogates to stop fooling Kenyans using religion inorder to whip them. This trick isn't selling at all. If the money laundering in churches has reduced drastically from Ruto himself , even this one will end. I have never heard this group joining church Harambees especially in Mt Kenya region where there was that craze which was sweeping the whole region. Karl Marx said that religion is the OPIUM of the masses. This is because , the poor believes , poverty is a religious problem and not an economic and political problem. KOT ( Kenyans On Tweeter) today were awash with hilariously chiding Ruto. That's tells you that , hiding behind religion inorder to hide your claws won't see the light of the day. It is that simple. I believe in God and if UDA adherents believes otherwise , that's their problem. No one owns GOD.
