WHY DO ANNE WAIGURU GETS AFRAID WHEN THE WORD CORRUPTION IS MENTIONED?

 

Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru is at it again. She is bitter and angry. Her adrenaline has shot up to astronomical levels. She is raging in fury and the anger she is dissipating can melt 1 tonne of Tononoka steel or doshi metal bars. In this streets , if you ask wanjiku what is relates her wiyh especially when her name is mentioned in both electronic and print media , the person will be quick to associate her with corruption. Sometimes back , she was impeached by Kirinyaga County Assembly MCAs who accused her of massive corruption that has nearly grounded operations in Kirinyaga County goverment. At the Senate , she survived the onslaught which was politically orchestrated. Infact , if the session at Senate had been alienated from political machinations , she would have joined Former Nairobi City County Governor Mike Sonko and the embattled former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu who were successfully impeached by their County Assemblies and the impeachment upheld by the Senate.

Waiguru came to the public domain when President Uhuru Kenyatta nominated her to head the coveted Devolution ministry. She has been an astute technocrat having worked in coveted ministries one being the ministry of Finance at the treasury. In the short stink she spent in that ministry , back in 2016 , the most pronounced scandal after that of Anglo leasing marred the National Youth Service(NYS). More than 1 billion shillings from thdt docket was stolen. As the person in charge , she exonerated herself from that scandal. Pressure mounted on her to resign and shoulder the responsibilities and tell Kenyan taxpayers , who looted their monies?

Deputy President William Ruto directed his eyes and energy on her. It is after Waiguru threatened to spill more beans on those State and public officers wielding more power and holding plum positions and were at the centre of that NYS scandal and benefitted in a big way that made Ruto and his allies who were piling pressure on Waiguru to resign retreated. They coiled their tails and allowed that issue to die slowly. The catwalking queen ended up resigning from that devolution ministry and asked president Uhuru Kenyatta to assign her light duties. Before the president could do that , in 2017 , Kirinyaga County residents accorded her light duties by electing her as their Governor.


Majority of Kenyans purport to hate corruption but the fact is , they do so when they are a beneficiary both directly and indirectly. When it is not favouring them , they will criticism and condemn it with harshest words possible. But the question is why is Gov. Waiguru afraid? In that list published by Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission ( EACC) , it domiciled 241 names of leaders both holding political/public offices and some aspiring for political offices. Those leaders are both drawn from Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party and kenya Kwanza Alliance. The question is , why is it that it is only Governor Waiguru who is complaining? What is that that she is trying to hide? Is she trying to tell Kenyans and Kenyans in general that the allegations are truth only that she is fearing , in an event she will not succeed in defending herself her fate will be like that of Mike Sonko and Ferdinand Waititu who are noe battling a litany of corruption cases. 

As we speak , the High Court sitting in Nairobi has given the EACC a nod to freeze Waititu's looted assets worth sh 1.9B. Waititu has reached thr dead end. The economic miseries following him will make him develop serious mental disorders but who cares. He looted from the very people who bestowed him to look after their affairs as the Governor of Kiambu County. Choices have consequences and the long arm of the law has caught up with him. For Anne Waiguru , let her fight her tribulations alone and stop dragging political connotations inorder to whip emotions of sympathy from the people is being suspected of stealing from. Kirinyaga County residents , rise to the occasion. The moment you visit that dispensary and clinic and find there is no drugs in the pharmacy section and you are made to spend you money to buy drugs in a nearby chemist/ pharmacy in your shopping centre , just know someone looted monies ment for stocking that hospital/dispensary with drugs.


Waiguru move to UDA do far is inconsequential in as far as fight aganaist graft is concerned. No one is interested in her being in UDA. Whether Kirinyaga County residents votes for Ruto to the last man , that can't make him win that seat. Waiguru is fighting a fierce battle of political survival in Kirinyaga County in as far as defending her gubernatorial seat is concerned. The baggage of corruption is here with her. She is trying to hoodwink the residents of Kirinyaga County that EACC is pursuing her due to Political persecution. Dear Kirinyaga County residents , open your eyes. Let that governor be contented with what she has looted from you people for the last 5 years.

Look , all those MCAs who were involved in impeaching her , she greased them and now they are singing her songs. They all moved to UDA to hide their dirty hands and hoodwink you that , they are champions of fighting for your rights. Upto date , the mover of the Waiguru impeachment motion MCA Kinyua Wangui  of Mūtira Ward has never allowed himself to be roped by Waiguru. He still believes Waiguru was guilt of looting from Kirinyaga taxpayers. Let Waiguru carry her own cross. She should know this , today , the court gave EACC a go ahead to freeze Waititu's looted asseted worth sh 1.9B. Is Waiguru fearing the guillotine placed on Waititu's neck will soon be placed on her? Time will tell but the GUILTY are always afraid.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
