THE KALONZO MUSYOKA FACTOR IN AZIMIO LA UMOJA.

 It is now clear that Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) has re-joined the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party after dilly dallying and blowing hot and cold on whether he is in or out. Before he joined Kalonzo Musyoka joined Azimio la Umoja , he was leading the One Kenya Alliance ( OKA) , the outfit which incorporated Musalia Mudavadi ( ANC) , Moses Wetangula ( Ford Kenya) , Gedion Moi( KANU) , Cyrus Jirongo (UDP) and Kalonzo Musyoka ( Wiper Party).  Wetangula and Mudavadi jettisoned from OKA and joined UDA where they ended up forming Kenya Kwanza Alliance (KKA).

At first , Kalonzo Musyoka joined the Azimio la Umoja fold and even gave strict conditions that , the name One Kenya Alliance to be incorporated into the agreement and the Coalition party to read , Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party. All that was adhered to and the Azimio la Umoja chief principals President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga engineered the talks. It is not clear that Kalonzo Musyoka has now made up his mind. From where am seated , I fully understand and resonate with Kalonzo. In politics , if you take note and seriousness , you get short circuited. Kalonzo has suffered twice , both in 2013 and 2017 and this time round he couldn't have taken any CHANCES. The seat of chief cabinet secretary which was hived for him by Raila Odinga is no mean seat. And today , he has accepted that slot with both hands and vowed to hit the ground and commit himself in campaigning for Raila-Karua presidential ticket.



The question is , how will this Kalonzo Musyoka factor favour Azimio la Umoja? It is imperative to note with no iota of doubt that Kalonzo is the undisputed Ukambani region political kingpin. Fact!! Ruto knows it. That's why he was trying hard to rope in Kalonzo in his fold. President Uhuru Kenyatta , Raila Odinga , Weta and Mudavadi knows it. According to IEBC recent update , Ukambani region have roughly 1.8 M voters who are slated to vote come August 9th. Kalonzo controls the region politically. It is a fact which the likes of Governors Ngilu , Mutua and Prof. Kibwana knows. It is a score for Azimio la Umoja. The Kamba nation are also in large numbers in Nairobi County and coast region. The last time they were in government is between 2007-2013 where , Kalonzo Musyoka was the late President Mwai Kibaki Vice President.

In his usual verbal outbursts that irks Kenyans and contributes in putting the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and especially UDA's presidential aspirant William Ruto in the receiving end , Rigathi Gachagua opined that if finds no reason why Kalonzo brags and Kamba votes are just about 1.5 Million. This statement was very heartbreaking. When Ruto is trying hard to rope in Kalonzo into Kenya Kwanza Alliance , his running mate is on the other side talking ill about that community and its leader. What kind of a person is he?? Though I don't support Ruto , the honest thing is Rigathi will do more harm than good.


I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Hon Kalonzo Musyoka. Joining the winning team of Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party was the best decision he made. Infact , his character as a person doesn't conform with thr character traits of majority of leaders in the other fold of Kenya Kwanza Alliance. That's the fact.  To the Kamba nation , rally behind your son. He has made the best decision. The right one for that matter. Kalonzo is a celebrated leader both locally , regionally and internationally. He is an astute diplomat and a well rounded one for that matter. If making a decision takes him long to do it , it is good to understand him. Many kenyans including me , I wasn't understanding him. If you major on this one issue of his indecisiveness , it may cloud you to see the real Kalonzo.

I have been studying the voting pattern of the Kamba nation and I have realized that , this block strongly believe in Kalonzo Musyoka leadership. The most honest thing is , he will be able to marshall a considerable votes and that's something that the opponent who has already developed a cold feet. When Kipruto Kirwa ditched UDA and Kenya Kwanza Alliance , they rubbished it terming it inconsequential. It is imperative to note , Kirwa was UDA's vice chairman. So , this is a person who held a very coveted position. That means , Ruto knew he was of strategic importance for him. What he is at pain to say is , he has lost a very vital person who will share alot of Intel with his main opponents. All in all , Kalonzo Musyoka factor will give Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party the much needed impetus.

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
