MUTHONI WA KIRUMBA , THE QUEEN OF AIRWAVES.

 Yesterday , team canjamüka fans which is co-hosted by Muthoni wa KIRUMBA aka Baby tops and bazuu mwenyewe kizangila mūthee Kíhenjo dropped a bombshell in his Facebook page. He bid farewell to his fans after she said her 12 years stink at Kameme FM is coming to an end. Wakirumba has been rocking the airwaves at Kameme FM show Canjamüka from 10am to 1 pm. If you have been listening to the duo , your ribs were doing an extra duty because by the end of the show , you needed to make relax for another 1 hour because of the laughter. She has commanded a formidable fan base that made majority of kenyans especially from Mt Kenya region were glued to that show each day from Monday to Friday.

What has caught my attention on this whole issue of Muthoni is the bluff and innuendos the Kenya Kwanza Alliance surrogates are parading. To them , Muthoni was fired because of not campaigning for Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition party presidential aspirant Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua. This is emanating from yesterday's communique from former Citizen TV news anchor Hussein Mohammed citing media bias on his presidential candidate William Ruto. Ruto isn't a happy man. To him , he is citing the media isn't giving him the much needed attention and coverage. They highlighted the media houses that are leading in the biasness against him. Royal media Radio and Television stations eg Inooro TV/FM , Radio citizen , Ramogi TV , Citizen TV etc.

The question is , why are UDA supporters whinning and manufacturing a propaganda that Wakirumba was fired by Kameme FM? I didn't hear her citing anything like that? Again , if she has reached to a decision to advance her Journalism career elsewhere , what's the problem? Infact , she has been in Kameme FM for the last 12 years. This isn't a mean feet achievement. As a journalist , she also has a right to incline to her political affiliation she demeans fit without coercion from her employer. The desperate Kenya Kwanza Alliance coteries is monumental. They now want to caricature this issue of Wakirumba to attract sympathy and gain political mileage which so far has hit a snag. 

The daughter of Kipipiri Constituency in Nyandarua County has been very instrumental in airing very pertinent issues affecting her County of origin. As a journalist , she has the liberty to air her opinion on matters leadership especially touching on her County. For the last five years , Nyandarua County has been on the limelight for all the wrong reasons. From supremacy battles between the Governor , MCAs and the County Assembly Speaker. To poor road networking where , we saw a family carrying the casket of the remains of their loved using a donkey cart due to poor road network. Nyandarua County , bring the food basket of Mt Kenya region and the better parts of Nairobi and Machakos County , is always used as a bad example in as far as mayters leadership is concerned.



Muthoni wa KIRUMBA has also been instrumental in nurturing and promoting artists from her home County of Nyandarua. Playing their music on air especially in her show. The most coincidental thing is , both her and her co-host Kíhenjo hails from that County. Benga artists like Kamoko , Jose Gatutura , Samidoh etc understands too well how Wakirumba was instrumental. They owe her alot of respect. From my end , the Canjamüka show was one of my favorite. Wakirumba was bringing doctors to address various illness , Lawyers , Kenyans who have beaten the odds to raise to stardom etc. In short , it was an educative show as well as an entertaining one. 

Those especially in Kenya Kwanza Alliance who are politicizing this issue should just backtrack and come with something else. When Hussein Mohammed left Citizen TV where he has spent countable years , did they bother to dig why he decided to leave? Did they say SK Macharia was coercing him to market Raila Odinga against his will? Kenya Kwanza are lacking content. Things are going South. They didn't anticipate that , political dynamics will shift dramatically. They are now bitter , bitter with everyone including themselves.  They should allow Muthoni to do her things in peace.  I don't know whether they were privy to the contents of Muthoni's contract with Mediamax management. So , they are holding brief for her as who?

NO NEED OF THREATS; KENYANS ARE JUST MAKING A COMMUNIQUE TO THEIR GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS.

T his afternoon , I have seen a video clip of Uasin Gishu County commissioner Dr Edison Nyale threatening chiefs and their assistant chiefs for not working hard in mobilizing residents in their respective locations and sub locations to attend the Jamhuri Day celebrations that took place yesterday at Kapsoya secondary school ground. From that video , the County Commissioner looks and sounds someone who is agitated, irritated and bitter. Wananchi waliususia mkutano wa Mtemi Bokono. Hivyo basi , Mtemi hakufurahishwa na Jambo Hilo hata kidogo. At the same time , the Governor of Uasin Gishu Hon Jonathan Bii aka Koti moja was present and from his end , he accused the ward co-ordinators for failing to mobilize residents to attend those celebration. WHY THE CHURCH HAS LOST IT ALL?

  T he church of late has found itself in the receiving end. It has auctioned the pulpit it should be protecting it , they have offered it to the political elites. Today , it is very difficult to know , which shepherd is genuinely leading the sheep to the light and the one leading them to the dark. Money laundering has now become rampant in churches. Those who have been in the front to propagate that vice is the clergy and a section of political elites. They organise for fictious projects and tag the cost too high. Since they know their congregants aren't in a position to raise it , their pastors/ vicars/ reverends/ Fathers organise for a church fundraise and invite leading politicians who inturn bring the monies in liquid form and not through cheque. If the real cost of the project is sh 2.5 Million , they will ensure that fundraise gets more than that amount.
